Portuguese 1941 contract German M 84/98 bayonet. (ABCN461-4-5)(K0)(JN158)

Portuguese German contract Mauser M84/98. Serial number: G 12740 on the crossguard. Blued fullered blade with no date, no markings and no makers name. Blued crossguard with no muzzle ring and pommel with T-O slot and Portuguese serial number on the crossguard. Two very crisp German Waffenambt markings: WaA833 on the pommel. Beautiful wooden grips fixed to the blade tang by screw bolts. Flash guard.
Excellent and correct blackened unmarked blackened scabbard. No dents.

The contract was delivered in two batches. The first, with serial numbers on the pommel, in 1937. This is a bayonet out of the second delivery (1941) of the German-Portuguese contract with a serial number on the crossgard.
