Austrian made German M 1884/98 bayonet, Third model, WWII by BYM '43 (ABCN455)(K143)(JN100-1)

Mauser  K98k. Serial number: 82737 over 414 on ricasso. Very good darkened fullered blade with the Austrian makers trademark: ByM (= Machinenhaus Ferlach -Austria )on the ricasso and date '43 on the blade spine. The blade shows fine peppering only. Excellent- blued pommel and crossguard. Flash guard with no dents. Two German Waffenambt markings on pommel. Excellent ribbed black bakelite grips secured to the tang by two screw bolts.
Excellent not matching blackened scabbard with no serieus dents, marked: ByM over 4 and serial number 2668 over E and the final with a Waffenambt stamp. 


Rare maker. Between 1939 and 1944 only 130.000 bayonets were made by Machinenhaus Ferlach in Austria.
