Austrian captured Imperial Russian M 1891 Mosin-Nagant rifle. Serial number: 447290 on ricasso and another cancelled serial number: 25507 .Excellent+ blued cruciform blade with screw driver tip. 30 ° socket is Russian maker marked by a K and two small U in circles. (= Ishveh arsenal)
Very rare French made blued steel ersatz scabbard with a French frog loop and a ball finial. Total length of the French M 1874 Gras type scabbard: 44,5 cm. No dents to the scabbard .

During WWI, Austria and Germany captured a great many Russian Mosin Nagant rifles and bayonets. Be course the Russians did not make scabbards with their socked bayonets, (the bayonets were permanent fixed to the rifles), Austrians and Germans made their own ersatz scabbards. French made bayonets and steel scabbards on a Russian contract.
