Austrian Mannlicher rifle M 1895 . Ca. 8 x 50R. No serial number. Superb bright finished fullered blade, cutting edge up. German makers name SIMSON & CO. - SUHL in two rows on left ricasso. Bulgarian rampant lion logo very crisp on right ricasso.
Excellent bright finished pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 15 mm. Excellent wooden grips secured to the blade by two steel rivets.
Dents free black painted Austrian style scabbard with Bulgarian rampant lion logo on frog stud.
Excellent example of a M 1895 Mannlicher bayonet made by Simson & Co. in Germany. For this model an extremely rare German maker and, also rare Bulgarian marking!
