Belgian M 1949 SAFN bayonet used by Belgium. Crown over J marked (ABCN314-1)(K81)(JN20-2)

SAFN 30 cal. 30-06  Serial number: 8161  Matching! on pommel. Minty phoforised double edged blade with a central rib. Darkened pommel with T-slot and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 18 mm. Left side of the pommel is type marked: S.A. 30, Crown over J. (=Belgian Acceptance marking) and the serial number. No oil hole in grip. Wooden grips secured to the blade tang by screw bolts.
Excellent blackened steel scabbard with no dents. Matching serial number on the throat and a crisp Crown over J on the frog stud..

An export bayonet, but this Minty Crown over J marked example was in use by the Belgian army.
