Belgian M 1924/30 FN made short Export bayonet for China. (ABC N 582)(JN 19-1) (K 189)

Belgian FN Mauser M 1924/30 rifle and Carbine. Serial number: 04700 on the pommel. Excellent bright finished short fullered blade. Excellent bright finished pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 15,5 mm.  Riveted crossguard is marked with a tiny 3 on both sides. Also the blade tang is marked on both sides with a tiny 3. Excellent wooden grips secured with screw bolts to the blade tang. Oil hole in grip. left grip is stamped with a large 3.
Excellent and odd light brown all leather scabbard with a integral leather belt loop with two long leather retaining straps. The leather body is marked on the right near the tip with an large 3 and marked with Chinese letters and digits:  ## 30 F H 4  ##. All stitches intact.
Length : 42,9 cm and width at the ricasso 2,5 cm

These bayonets were also used with the Zhong Zheng Shi (General Chiang Kai-Shek) rifle, a copy of the German M 98 Mauser 8 mm rifle.
They were intensively used from 1935 till 1945 and if encountered, show well use.
