Belgian M 1916 infantry bayonet. (ABCN1091-4)(K337)(JN18-2)

Belgian M 1889 FN Mauser rifle and carbine. First model: 1916.  Excellent+ blued double edged "fish bone" blade with a central rib. Excellent bright finished pommel and crossguard with a muzzle ring. MRD 17.4 mm. Excellent wooden grips secured by screws and washers to the blade tang. Excellent and correct blued Belgian scabbard with an almond frog stud. No dents to the scabbard. 

Early M 1916 bayonet. The hilt is welded together and not made out of one piece of steel which was the second model made in 1917. (M1916/17). The M 1916 and M 1916/17 were made during The Great War in France by Belgium sword makers.
