German M 1914 bayonet, type I by SAMSON WERK (ABC N 639) (JN 88-2)(K 212)
Mauser M98 rifle. Excellent- bright finished fullered long blade. Some light peppering/pitting near the tip only. German maker's name: SAMSON WERK crisp on the ricasso. German inspection mark crisp on blade spine Excellent blued pommel . T-O slot in pommel and crossguard without a muzzle ring. Pommel shows a faint German inspection marking. Excellent wooden grips riveted to the blade tang. Oil hole in grips. No flash guard.
Comes in its Excellent dents free Field grau painted ersatz scabbard.
