German M 1884/98 bayonet, Third model, WWII by 42 cof. (Carl Eickhorn)(ABCN455-1)(K143)(JN100-2)

Mauser K98. Serial number: 2943 over S on the ricasso. Excellent- fullered blued blade with German makers makers letter code 42 cof (= Carl Eickhorn 1942)  on the ricasso.  Reverse side with serial number. Excellent blued pommel and crossguard. Excellent+ flash gard and two German WaA Waffenambt markings on the pommel. Excellent light brown wooden grips, secured to the tang by two screw bolts.
Excellent (matching) maker and dated blued steel scabbard: cof over 1940  and serial number: 4655 over D. No dents to the scabbard.
