Spanish M 1893 bayonet, Hump back, screwed grips.(ABCN385-4)(K 105)(JN175-1B)

Mauser M 1893 kal. 7mm 5 shots. serial number: J. 4017  on crossguard. Second humpback model. Excellent bright finished fullered blade with German maker's name: SIMSON & Co-. SUHL in two lines on ricasso. The fuller is running to the tip. Excellent bright polished pommel with T-slot and crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 15.5 mm. Crossguard is marked facing the blade 79 and 3 Excellent  hump back hilt with wooden grips secured to the tang by two screw bolts.  
Excellent black leather scabbard with clear tooling and bright fittings. Top mount with serial number: F 1107. All stitches intact and no dents to the mounts. 

This model is very similar to the German M 71/84 bayonet. These were issued to the Spanish troops during the Spanish- Cuban- American war in 1898.

This is the rarest of the four models; Humpback and screwed grips. Very nice example!
