Spanish M 1893 bayonet. Hump back, riveted grips. ABCN385-3)(K 105)(JN175-1B)

Mauser M 1893 kal. 7mm 5 shots. Serial number: G 8826  on crossguard. Second humpback model. Superb bright finished fullered blade with German maker's name: SIMSON & Co-. SUHL faint in two lines on ricasso. The fuller is running to the tip. Excellent bright polished pommel with T-slot and crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 15.5 mm. Crossguard is marked facing the blade 14 and F. Excellent hump back blade tang with wooden grips secured to the tang by two rivets.  
Excellent black leather scabbard with bright finished fittings with no dents. All stitches intact.

This model is very similar to the German M 71/84 bayonet. These were issued to the Spanish troops during the Spanish- Cuban- American war in 1898.
