Nederlands M 1845/46 Cavalerie oefen-/ schermsabel / Dutch M 1845/46 Cavalry training/fencing sword. Excellent long slim straight bright finished double edged blunted blade marked on the ricasso with the trademark of the German maker: Knight helmet (= Weyersberg- Solingen) and the Dutch retailers name: NED.WAPENMAGAZIJN- HAARLEM on the ricasso. Excellent polished steel M 1845/46 Cavalry troopers sword hilt. Large bowl with 3 side bars. Front is marked: NED.WAPENMAGAZIJN over HAARLEM. Excellent fine ribbed wooden grip covered with black horse leather. Slit for a sword knot in top of the guard.
Total length: 103 cm Width at the ricasso: 1,2 cm.
A scabbard was not provided with this sword.
