Dutch M 1843 Naval officers sword by Wm. Pauw te 's Hage. (JP 82-124)

"Nederlands Marine officierssabel M 1843 "Sabel voor alle officieren, de Adelborsten 1e klas, Adjudant-Administrateur en scheepsklerken" / Dutch M 1843 Naval officers sword.
Excellent++ bright finished curved pipe back blade with no etching. Intact red leather washer.
The left ricasso shows the name mark of the German maker: Crown over Z in shield (= H. &. W. Lang- Solingen 1840-1860. After 1860 this trademark was taken over by Clemen & Jung -Solingen. ) and an old style Dutch quality proof mark: Eisenhauer in a scroll. The reverse side is crisp marked with the Dutch retailers name and residence in a scroll: Wm. Pauw over  te s'HAGE. (= Willem Pauwels, Westeinde 317-The Hague. 1814-1874)
Beautiful detachable gilt hilt with a rich variation of ornaments. Ball top nut on the pommel. The gilt hand guard is pierced with a fouled anchor under a crown and beautiful floral motives. The white ribbed ivory grip is in an excellent condition. It has a complete silver wire winding.
The brass mounted black leather scabbard with tooling is in a perfect condition. Excellent brass fittings. Top fitting with an crowned anchor. All stitches are intact and there are no serieus dents to the fittings.
It comes with its genuine Dutch Naval officers sword knot.

The Dutch Naval officers sword M1843 was adopted in 1843 and was used for nearly 40 years. It replaced in 1882 by the introduction of a new model. 
For some reasons not many survived and these are scarce in an Excellent condition.
