Dutch Infantry officers sword M 1912 by A. Hassing- Amersfoort.(JP100-171)

"Nederlands infanterie officiers sabel M 1912 -Wandelsabel-" / Dutch M 1912 Infantry officers sword. Excellent+ slightly curved fullered blade. The German makers trademark; Kings head and Knight helmet (= Weyersberg & Kirschbaum - Solingen, used before WWI)  is covered by the right lanquet.Faint Dutch retailers name and residence:  A. HASSING over AMERSFOORT in a scroll on the blade site, The reverse side is marked with a faint  Dutch proof mark: IJZERHOUWER in a scroll. Red felt washer. 
Excellent+ gilt brass hilt with a lion head and knuckle bow. Crossguard with forward swept quillon with puma head. Excellent dark brown ebony grip with an intact twisted brass wire winding. 
Excellent plated steel scabbard with a single loose hanging ring, a very small dent halve way and some usual light user spurs only. The scabbard is complete with its two small throat screws.

Total length: 92,5 cm. Width at the ricasso:  2,2 cm.

This standard M 1912 infantry officers sword is in use from 1912 on to present day.
