Very impressive and very heavy Dutch HC troopers sword. These swords were made in Solingen-Germany and purchased by the Dutch King William the first and supplied to his army to be used on the battle field of Waterloo! against the troops of the French empire Napoleon Bonaparte.
Later these swords were used during the Belgian conflict of 1830.
A very heavy and rare Dutch sword, issued to Dutch Heavy Dragoons Regiments (Zware Dragonders/Kurassiers) in an Excellent+ condition.
These sword served a very long time.

This sword was part of the collection of the The Rijksmuseum of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It was sold during an International Auction on June 15, 2020 at Het Venduehuis der Notarissen in The Haque

Very nice example and a hard to find Dutch HC sword in this condition.!
