Dutch Indies (K.N.I.L.) M 1905 Mounted Cavalry sword. (JP 97 - 163/164)

"Nederlands Indische (K.N.I.L.) Bereden Cavaleriesabel M 1905" / Dutch Indies (K.N.I.L.) Mounted Cavalry sword M 1905. Excellent blued fullered slightly curved long blade with a klewang style clip point. The blade shows fine user spurs only. German makers name: E. & F. HÖRSTER over SOLINGEN at the ricasso. The reverse side shows a Dutch Inspector marking: Crown over D.  Excellent detachable Dutch klewang style blued hilt, with 3 side bars and a black ribbed wooden grip. 7 ribs.
Excellent thick black leather scabbard with a blued throat, a blued single loose hanging ring and a blued chape. Leather body is marked and dated between the throat and the hanging ring: G.W. over N over 3 - '18 and I.N. All stitches intact and a small dent to the backside of the chape only.
