Description
French M 1754 Infantry rifle. Very nice triangular blade. Unreadable marking on the ricasso. Socket with a Z-shaped slot. No rim to the socket. MRD 22.5 mm.
Socked is unit marked: 2. F. 6 .
The bayonet is stained and shows areas of light pitting only. Not a relic bayonet.
An extremely rare early socket bayonet. very hard to find!
