Dutch service dress visor cap for a general officer of the Dutch Royal Air Force. Excellent blue fabric peaked officers visor cap. Blue top and visor, black band with black patent leather chin strap. Gilt embroidered Royal Air Force badge showing the royal crown over a gilt flying eagle over gilt laurels. The batch is indicating a high rank officers cap.
Blue visor with gold buillion wire work: two rows of oak leaves and acorns. The two rows are indicating: a general officer.
Gilt Air Force button secured black patent leather chinstrap. 
Makers name inside: HASSING BV, AMERSFOORT. Size 53  
These peak caps were used by general Dutch Air Force officers only. These are ranks from Commodore till General.(General is the highest rank in the Dutch Royal Air Force).

Genuine item and used around 1970. This cap is in a Excellent+ condition. There is a picture and the name of the former owner (A lieutenant-General/ Air Marchal) inside the cap!

Very attractive item and not easy to find.
