Swiss M 1842/75 Sharpshooters side arm by GEBR. WEYERSBERG-SOLINGEN
Swiss M 1842/75 Sharpshooters side arm. Serial number AA over a crown .295 on ricasso. Excellent bright finished plain blade with German makers naam: GEBR. WEYERSBERG - SOLINGEN on the ricasso and a crowned Double AA.295. Beautiful black ebony grips fixed to the blade tang by three large and raised brass rivets. Brass crossguard with down turned finials. Excellent tooled black leather scabbard with brass fittings. All stitches intact. Both fittings show some small dents only. Top mount with leather tab.
Comes with its Excellent black leather frog. Swiss makers name, residence and date on the reverse side: X.GLUTZ-SATTLER-ETZIKEN 1896.
Total length : 67,5 Width at the ricasso: 3,3 cm. Blade length 52 cm.
