Antique German military practice fencing sabre. Very good long fullered and slightly curved fullered blade. German makers name: F.DAMASCHKE over HOFLFT over BERLIN (= Frederich DAMASCHKE, Hoflieferant (=Purveyor of then court), Berlin) crisp on the ricasso. Correct blunted tip. Bright finished detachable hilt with large bright finished bowl. Bowl is marked: 6.C. Excellent wooden grip covered with winded brown tow. Intact white leather finger loop.
The complete sword is nicely grey patinated.
