Antique European fencing sabre, around 1900
Antique European fencing sabre. Excellent and very long fullered blade. Tip is blunted. Detachable hilt. A very large bright finished hammered bowl with a brass/copper insert, fixed by three brass rivets. Checkered, more square wooden grip. Brass fastening nut.
Very attractive fencing sabre.
No markings, European and possible Hungarian. Made around 1900.
