Hungarian M 1935 Cavalry NCO bayonet (ABCN739-2) (K 234)(JN 113-2/4)
Hungarian Mannlicher M35 an M1943 rifle/ PM M1939/43. Serial number: C 37765 on crossguard. Cavalry NCO model. Excellent- long parkerized double edged blade with a central rib. Blackened crossguard with a French Lebel style catch and muzzle ring with adjustable cavalry sight on top and a NCO hooked quillon showing some fine peppering only. Hungarian crest on crossguard. Muzzle ring MRD 15,2 mm. Round blackened steel pommel with a NCO screwed on lanyard loop. Excellent+ one piece cylindrical wooden grip.
Excellent and correct green painted steel scabbard with no dents. Austrian style frog stud with the Hungarian Crest.
Rare M 1935 Cavalry NCO bayonet, not easy to find.
C- serial number indicates bright finished made before 1940. After 1940 all M 1935 bayonets were send back to the arsenal and blackened.
