Dutch / Belgian municipal constable short sword, Around 1830( No ref.)

"Nederlands / Belgisch Veldwachterssabel, rond 1830". / Dutch / Belgian  municipal constable short sword. Around 1830. No serial number. Very good bright finished straight plain blade with long false edge and no markings. Sharp tip and leather washer intact. Blade shows fine scratches. Excellent and massive one piece ebony grip with five ribs. Brass French style brass pommel and brass crossguard with a swept forwards quillon and a backward swept quillon with ball finials. 
No scabbard. 

Seldom seen Dutch (or Belgian) Municipal constable short sword in the late French Restauration time frame style of 1830 or earlier. 
Total length; 73 cm. Width at the ricasso: 3,4 cm
