German WWII Police officers bayonet knot. (Portopee). Very good grey leather strap with four alloy wires and a red wire in the middle. Intact slide. The strap shows user spurs only. Excellent silver stam, crown and achorn. Red, black and silver core.
This bayonet portopee differs from the sword portopee by dimensions. The strap is more narrow and the achorn is significant smaller. (4,5 cm. )
This type of bayonet/sword knot was called a "Portopee" and was carried by Police officers and officials on bayonets, during WWI and WWII.
A hard to find Police officers bayonet portopee, genuine and in a Very good condition.
