German M 1916 ersatz bayonet (ABCN614-4-6)(K 590)(JN92-4)(EB49)

German M 1888 Commission rifle and Mauser M 1898 rifle, French Lebel rifle, Russian Mosin Nagant (with adapter). No serial number. Very good- bright finished fullered blade with no markings showing light to moderate pitting all over. Blade length is ca 30 cm. Blackened massive cast steel hilt with oil hole and nine diagonal grooves cast into the hilt, simulating the issue wood grips of the M 1898/05 bayonet. The hilt and crossguard are made from two pieces fixed to the blade tang by 3 steel rivets. The width of the crossguard is 10 mm. Crossguard with double diameter open type muzzle ring. T-O slot in pommel. Blued steel ersatz scabbard with no dents missing the throat screw. (Anthony Carter EB 49)
