Description

German made blackened K98 leather cavalry bayonet frog for all WW2 M 84/98 models. 4 brass rivets and central stitching. All stitching intact. Retaining strap with brass stud. Reverse side is faint marked W over 44, Excellent example described by  Anthony Carter; Item  310.  Also see Roy Williams new book: A collectors guide to German Bayonets frogs. Page 204 and further on.
