French M 1866 Chassepot bayonet, Navy marked by WEYERSBERG-SOLINGEN (ABC N 1784-1 )(K 0) (JN 0)

Chassepot M 1866 rifle. Serial number 15232 on crossguard. Very good- fullered bright finished yataghan blade with German makers trademark: Crowned Kings head (=WEYERSBERG-SOLINGEN) on the ricasso. No French markings to the blade spine. Some peppering and a few spots of very light pitting to the blade. Excellent brass grip with blued external spring. No markings to the mortise slot. Very good bright finished crossguard with guillion and muzzle ring MRD: 17,5 mm. Crisp navy anchor mark on the crossguard and a B in a diamant shape on the quillon.
Excellent black painted scabbard, not matching serial number: 18452, but a matching navy anchor and a B in a diamant shape marking. No dents.

French Navy marked M 1866 bayonets are rare. This is also a scarce German made example!
