English M 1907 bayonet. First pattern with hook and MK1 scabbard by WILKINSON. (ABCN1022)(K316)(JN57-2)
British Lee Enfield (SMLE) No.7 rifle. Serial number: R 358 and B on the scabbard throat. First pattern with hooked quillon and no oil hole in the pommel. Excellent bright finished blade. First 1,5 cm blackened. Ricasso is crisp marked with English makers name WILKINSON and Crown over ER over 1907 and very crisp dated: 10'08. More issue dates added; '10, '13, Clear British (Enfield) inspection marks, /I\, X, Crown over 76 over E, on the reverse side of the ricasso. Excellent blued pommel with muzzle ring and hooked quillon. MRD 16,5 mm. Excellent walnut grips secured to the blade tang by screw bolts.
Excellent super rare MK1. London brown leather scabbard with blued top mount Enfield marked: /I\ over EFD over 26 near the staple. Internal steel chape! Teardrop frog stud. Leather body is marked: B. and dated '08 and Crown over 13 over E. and a /I\. All stitches intact and no dents to the fittings.
Comes with its Excellent and genuine rare khaki Pattern 08 belt frog (AC 117) as found.
