Belgian Mauser M 1889 rifle, rifle Cal. 7.65. Number: T 7295 Matching! on crossguard. Home Guard district: T (= Ostende). Excellent bright finished fullered mid length blade. (300 cm.) Tip of the blade shows some stains only. Belgium inspection marking: JB under a crown in a trilob on the ricasso and V in a box inspection mark on the blade spine. Bright finished pommel and crossguard with forward swept guillon, marked V in a box. Catch with a V mark in a box. Crossguard is marked: E 2246 Muzzle ring MRD 17.5 mm. Excellent wooden grips secured by two screw bolts.
