No rifle. No s.nr. Very good long bright 49 teeth sawback blade with fuller on one side. Maker's name; S.J.G. NEUHAUSEN in small digits on ricasso. Bright finished pommel and crossguard. Press stud is filed flush and mortise lock is filled with a wooden plug. Muzzle ring "horns" removed. MRD 18 mm. Excellent brown chequered grips riveted to tang with 4 rivets . Excellent and correct early model black leather scabbard marked 100 with bright metal fittings with all stiches intact. Comes with a dark brown leather frog with maker's name: F. WERTHMULLER - SATTLER- ALTERSWYL and date 1880 on the reverse side.
This model is called "Bandsman", but it was also issued to NCO's, Medical troops and other diciplines.
