Dutch Cavalry cadet officers sword M 1876 by F. Schoonman-Breda..(JP89-145)

"Nederlands Cavalerie Cadetten sabel M 1876. Lange sabel No.2./ Dutch Cavalry cadet officers sword M 1876. No.2. Superb long curved fullered bright finished slim blade. Red felt washer intact. Dutch retailers name and residence: F. SCHOONMAN over BREDA (1870-1890) in a scroll on the blade side. Dutch proofmark: YZERHOUWER in a scroll on the reverse.  Ricasso marked with a German makers trademark: Kings head and knight helmet over W.K.& C (= Weyersberg & Kirschbaum-Solingen. Trademark used from 1883 - 1918) Excellent bright finished, shorter than normal, steel hilt, steel hand guard with knuckle bow and three side bars and a forward swept quillon. Excellent+ wooden grip, covered with ray skin and a complete twisted silver wire winding.
Very good steel scabbard with a single loose hanging ring. There no serieus dents to the scabbard, only some user spurs. 
Total length: 99 cm. Blade length: 87 cm. Hilt length: 12 cm. (Normal ca. 14 cm)  Width at the ricasso 2,1 cm.
