Norwegian M 1916 shortened bayonet (ABCN256-1 / ABCN768)(K247)(JN151-3)

Krag Jorgensen M 1912 rifle and M 1925 rifle. Serial number: 131113 Matching! on the crossguard. Excellent bright finished shortened fullered blade. Width of the fuller is 9 mm. The Norwegian makers logo: Crown over K (=Kongsberg Arsenal) is on the ricasso and and the Cypher of King Haakon 7th. and an inspection marking on the reverse side. Excellent bright finished hilt with locking catch close to the crossguard. T-slot in pommel. Excellent wooden grips fixed by a single screw to the hilt.
Excellent blackened shortened scabbard with no dents, marked with a matching serial number 

This rare M 1916 bayonet was shortened to a total length of 35,5 cm by Germany during WWII.
