Description
German Mauser M 1898 Rifle, M 1888 rifle and French Lebel and Russian Mosin-Nagant rifles with adapter. Ersatz bayonet. Excellent bright finished straight fullered "butcher" blade. (Ref. EB47). Gothic inspection marking on the blade spine.
Excellent black painted two part steel hilt riveted together. Oil hole in grip. Grossguard with a short round backward swept quillon. Open double diameter muzzle ring.
Excellent and correct black painted steel No.4 ersatz scabbard with no serieus dents.
Believed to be manufactured by Koeller & Cie.
