German M 1884/98 bayonet, Third model, WWII by S/176 (= Paul Weyersberg u. Co. - Solingen. (ABCN455-1)(K143)(JN100-2)
Mauser K98. Serial number: 1398 over a on the ricasso. Excellent fullered blued blade with secret makers mark: S /176 (= S code of: Paul Weyersberg u. Co. - Solingen) on the ricasso and the date: "36 crisp on the blade spine Reverse side with serial number. Excellent blued pommel and crossguard. Flash gard with light user spurs only. Two early German droopwing Waffenambt markings on the pommel. Excellent wooden grips, secured to the tang by two screw bolts.
Excellent+ (not matching) maker and dated steel scabbard: Elite - Diamant 38 with serial number: 6623 over a. No dents to the scabbard.
