German M 1884/98 bayonet, second model WWI by J.A.HENCKELS-ZWILLINGWERK-SOLINGEN. (ABC N 447)(JN81-2)(K 140)
Mauser M98 rifle. Excellent bright finished fullered blade. German maker's name and trademark: Twins over J.A.HENCKELS over ZWILLINGWERKE crisp on the ricasso. Prussian W over date: 17 and a crown over a Gothic inspection mark very crisp on the blade spine.
Excellent bright finished crossguard and pommel with T-O slot and a crown over a Gothic inspection marking.
Excellent wooden grips secured with screw bolts to the blade tang and an Excellent flash guard.
Comes with an Excellent WWII blackened scabbard with no serieus dents.
