French M 1822 socket bayonet for M 1822 Infantry rifle. (ABCN951)(K301)(JN0)
French M 1822 Infantry rifle. Serial number: 635 on the left shank. Excellent bright finished cruciform long blade. Socket with a Z-shaped slot and a locking ring with a securing screw on top of the body. Ricasso is marked L F over an inspection mark: L in a circle (= revisor F.L. Lobstein 1804- 1822) over 3. Front of the shank is marked wit a square stamp.
This is the same concept of the French AN IX model.
MRD 22 mm. Total length: 530 mm.
