Polish /French M1886/93 Lebel bayonet re-utilized by Poland (ABCN1450-1)(K0)(JN 161-1)
Polish Lebel M 1886 M.93 R35. First model M 86 bayonet with a quillon. Serial number: F 69864 on the crosguard. Excellent long bright cruciform full length blade. First 3 cm of the blade show light peppering only. Beautiful Berlin-silver grip, crisp Polish marked on the right upperpart WZ. 86/93. Crossguard with a quillon and muzzle ring MRD 15 mm. Circular push button. Two French inspection markings: R and a P in a circle.
Excellent blued steel standard French scabbard with a serial number.
Total length: 63,9 cm.
These French bayonets were supplied to Poland after the Great War and used bij the Polish to fight the Bolshevics in the Polish-Soviets war of 1919-1921.
A very rare bayonet with a history!
