French M 1886-15 Lebel bayonet with brass grip. (ABCN1442-2)(K412)(JN71-3)

ebel rifle M 1886 and further Lebel models. Serial number: F 33902 on the crossguard. Excellent darkened long cruciform blade with no inspection markings on ricasso. Excellent- brass grip, detachable to the blade tang. Some user spurs to the hilt only. Made without guillon. Blackened crossguard and a square checkered press stud. Excellent steel scabbard with no dents. 

These Lebel M 1886-15 were made by private companies by the end of the war without a quillon. Therefore there are no French inspection markings First examples were made with alloy hilts. In October 1915 the French Ministry allowed the use of brass for the hilts The production stopped at the end of the War. This example was made between October 1915 and April 11, 1917 when the production of brass hilts stopped.
