US M7 No.II bayonet by COLT. Made in the USA. (ABC N 149-1)(K 746)(JN 0))

Colt Armelite M15 and M 16 automatic rifle. Excellent blackened standard M7 double edged blade with long false edge. US makers trademark and name: Colt's rampant stallion in a circle with small ® and COLT'S 62316 HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A. in two lines longitutinal on the right side of the blade. Parkerized M16 type pommel and crossguard with no quillon and muzzle ring MRD 22mm. Crossguard is marked US M7. Excellent black checkered plastic grips secured with two screw bolts. Minty green plastic scabbard with steel top mount and a reinforced steel tip with lace hole Top mount is marked:  U.S.M8A1 over P.W.H.  in two lines. An integral green khaki frog with a retaining strap and a US belt hook.

Please note: This is not the more common German made bayonet, but the much rarer model made in the USA.
