Description
US Krag-Jorgensen Cadet rifle M 1895. Excellent chrome plated long fullered blade with US on one side and date; 1899 on the opposite side of the ricasso. Excellent chrome plated pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring; MRD 16 mm. Minty wooden grips riveted to the tang by two flush plated rivets .Correct bright polished metal scabbard type b.with steel swivel belt hook.(1903)
This model was modified and used as a dress bayonet by cadets of the Academy of Key West and other US military academies and replaced the short bladed model.
Excellent and very rare example. Total length: 39,9 cm.
