Turkish M 1874 socket bayonet (ABCN1191)(K362)(JN190-1)

Peabody-Martini M 1874  Cal.45 rifle. Excellent blued cruciform blade. Blued offset socket only marked with a small H. 
Excellent and intact rare brown leather scabbard with brass fittings, riveted to the leather body. Brass olive shaped frog stud. Square throat.

This socket bayonet was produced by The Providence Tool Company, Providence Rhode Island - USA in a contract for 400.000 rifles in 1873
Very hard to find with its correct scabbard! .
