Swiss M 1889/11 bayonet, Second model Type II, round rivet in the fuller by MACHINENFABRIC-NEUHAUSEN (K 169)(JN 186-2)(ABC N 545-1)

Schmidt-Rubin M 1889, 89-96, 96-11 rifles. Serial number: 242946 on the crossguard.  Minty bright finished fullered blade with WAFFENFABRIK in an arch over the Swiss maker's name: NEUHAUSEN stamped on the ricasso. Type II with steel round rivet in the fuller. The rivet diameter is 9 mm. Beautiful bright finished pommel and crossguard with a muzzle ring (MRD 15 mm).  Quillon is marked with a Swiss Cross. Excellent wooden grips, riveted to the tang with two large steel rivets. 
Blued steel scabbard with a leather strap on the frog loop. No dents to the scabbard. 
Comes with its Excellent and correct for this model, brown leather frog as found with with a steel buckle and two brass rivets. The Swiss makers name and  residence: A. KAMMACHER- SATLLER- LENK 1/8 and the date: (19)68.
