Spanish M 1943 carbine bayonet ( ABCN463)(K149)(JN176-1)
Mauser M 1944 short rifle made for the Spanish Air force (M 1936). Serial number: 993 on ricasso. Excellent bright finished fullered blade. Spanish makers trademark: Crown over FN (= Fabrica National Toledo - Spain) on the ricasso. The reverse is marked with a serial number and a capital G. , T/O slotted bright finished pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 15,5 mm. Right crossguard is marked U. Crossguard facing the blade is marked 7. Hilt with no flash guard and excellent wooden grips secured to the blade tang by screw bolts and washer rings. Oil hole.
Excellent German 1939 (Spanish Civil War era ) dated blackened steel scabbard with no dents.
