Siamese M 1902 bayonet (ABC N 358-1)(JN 171-2)(K 97)
Siam Mauser M 1902 rifle/ Type 66. Serial number on the pommel in Siamese digits. Near Mint bright finished fullered blade with very crisp Siamese digits on the ricasso (= Rattanakosin Sok 121= 1903). Bright finished pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring: MRD 16 mm. T-O slot in pommel.
Minty wooden grips. The scales are secured by oblong -type of screw-washer arrangement. No oil hole in grip.
Minty blued scabbard with no dents.
These Siamese Mauser rifles and bayonets were made in the Japanese arsenals of Tokio in the 1903-1908 time frame.\
