Description
WZ98 rifle and WZ29 Mauser type carbine. Serial nummer: 39895 on the ricasso. Excellent bright finished fullered blade with the Polish makers name and S in a box - “PERKUN″ on the ricasso. The reverse side shows the Polish Eagle over W.P.(= Woisko Polski = Polish Army) Large riveted crossguard without muzzle ring. Hilt with no flash guard. Very good wooden grips, fixed to the blade tang by screw bolts (Replacements). Oil cleaning hole in grips.
Excellent and correct black painted German WWII scabbard. No serial number/ makers name and no serieus dents.
German scabbards are often seen with Polish WWII bayonets.
Hard to find Polish bayonet model.
