German makers trademark: Knight helmet (= W. R. Kirschbaum - Cronenbergstrasse, Solingen. Trademark used between 1870-1895) on the ricasso. Red felt washer intact.
Excellent+ detachable M 1852 Berlin-silver hilt with a cast pommel and an one piece brown horn grip with an intact twisted brass wire winding. Berlin-silver hand guard with a single side bar. Crossguard with forward swept guillon.
Superb Berlin-silver scabbard with a single loose hanging ring. No dents!
Comes with a very nice correct and genuine M 1854 Dutch officers sword knot.
