"Nederlands Infanterie Onderofficierssabel M 1859. Korte sabel No. 3." / Dutch Infantry NCO short sword M 1859, No.3. Serial number : 1176 on the crossguard. Excellent+ curved bright finished plain blade. hard to read inspection marking on the ricasso. Excellent+ one piece brass hilt with ribbed handle and a typical Dutch steel rivet in the center. Brass massive crossguard with forward and backward swept quillon. Forward swept quillon with an acorn Crossguard is dated: 1861.
Total length 60,5 cm.
