Description
Dutch Mannlicher carbine No.3 and No.4, Cal. 6,5 mm. Serial number: 5340. on the crossguard and 194 on the reverse side. Very good- long T-shape blued blade with the German makers trademark of Alex.Coppel-Solingen; A -scale-C on the ricasso and a Dutch inspector marking Crown over Z on the reverse. The blade shows stains and some light peppering /pitting only. Bulbous blued pommel with a working T-slot. Crosguard with muzzle ring . MRD: 14 mm. Excellent wooden grips secured to the blade tang by two large steel rivets.
No scabbard.
This bayonet can be improved with some effort.
