Description
Arizaka M 1897 rifle. Serial number: 18706 and a Saka inspection mark on the pommel. Excellent blued fullered blade. Ricasso is marked with the trade mark of the Matsushita arsenal. Excellent blackened flat bird head pommel with T-slot. Blackened crossguard with muzzle ring and a straight quillon. (MRD 14,0 mm) very good wrap around wooden grips secured with screw bolts and washers. Left grip is missing a chip only.
Excellent drab olive painted wooden ersatz scabbard with two bands of cord binding and a long steel chape.
