Italian made BM59 bayonet. (ABCN353-3)(K90)(JN 128-1)

Italian Garand BM 59 rifle. Serial number: 108096 on the ricasso. Minty deep blued fullered US blade with a serial number on the one side and a large 92 on the reverse side. Deep blued pommel and crossguard  with muzzle ring. MRD 15.8 mm. Ribbed black plastic grips, secured to the blade tang by a single screw.
Olive drab painted plastic scabbard with an Italian style khaki frog.

Scarce Minty bayonet.
These were used with the Italian conversion of the US MI Garant rifle made by Baretta in 1962. This rifle was called the BM 59.
